PUMPKIN HARVEST

Fall colors are so warm and inviting. It makes me think of sitting by the cozy fireside with a cup of tea and  a great book to read. Fall is my favorite time of the year for me here in Northern Maine especially when we hit peak time for the fall leaves. This was a costume made handbag for a neighbor who will be given this one as a gift for Christmas.

This is by far my favorite combintion of fabric together. Shown here is my La Petite, Medium & Large size. Browns and green have become very popular this year in a lot of prints.

ZEBRA & POLKA SETS

These two handbags were created for my daughter and her friend. I love the hot pink one most as I love the bright colors of the pinks with the black. They both asked if I could make  sunglass case to go with them and that the case had to have plenty of padding because they both keep breaking their sunglasses. I came up with this simple pattern that fits even the large sunglasses in them. I put plenty of paddy in them also.

THE LAURA

Browns and Teals are becoming a very popular color combination along with the different prints. I love stripes and polka dots together. This material was a steal at Wal-mart. I found it while I was in Florida visiting my sisters.

The bow gives it a girlish touch but does not make it to feminine for us gals that don't like all the girlie girl things added to our purses.

This is a fun print for any little girl to have while she is out shopping with mommy or going to school. I made the bow out of ribbon that matched the print and adhered a button in the middle.
